I hope that my blog will be an attempt to share my views on politics and the media with others. I love the media and I love politics and tend to see things from a conservative viewpoint.
I saw the film of the year yesterday. United 93 is compelling and disturbing. I had a hard time watching it, sitting still for it because it was so intense. And of course, I knew how it ended. The sadness hit me at the very end and I left the theater with tears strolling down both cheeks. It is a mixture of drama and documentary. There are no big name stars in the film, so you focus on the events and not the famous faces. I would highly recommend that all Americans see this film. This flick paints the patrons of United 93 as the heroes they are. And the terrorists as the evildoers they are. It reminds us that we're all in this global war on terror together. It is important that this film do well at the box office. So go to the theater and consider it an act of patriotism you can enjoy with popcorn.
